Disasterous load of play - With more of an eye on how many raked hands and points I was building I've blown a massive hole in my bankroll only to be 63% towards getting a $44 bonus - great maths on my part ... blow $50 to not get $44 ... dumb n ass spring to mind ... almost a predicting my own downfall I'd written an article for the site about not playing over your bankroll to earn bonus money ... at least I can laugh at my own folly.

After a nice healthly start back, I came down to earth with a bump. Admittedly I'm playing way beyond my bankroll (tut tut) in order to see if I can get the monthly bonus qualified in time but the last sitting was a disaster. I got on tilt after getting a bit of a bad beat and started playing everything over aggressive. At the end of it I'm still quite a way off qualifiying for the $44 bonus - Interpoker have made it harder to get the bonuses and not sure I'm that keen on playing the site 24/7 and then faffing around to cashout & redeposit every month.

So having been away from online poker for a few days due to a snowboarding trip, I decide to get a couple of hours in on the last day before the inevitable beery session in the bar. The tournie proved to be good game but the cash games went a bit sour - I'd left the first game doubled up and was playing fine.

At the second table I got dealt AA and put in a decent raise in late position to cut out the competition, got re-raised by one player on the BB and re-raised him again all-in, so about $12 and he called for all his money as we had similar stacks - he turned over K 10 off which was a bit mad IMHO - then the miracle flop turned him a made straight and I was beat. I honestly dont see how he raised & called all his money with it but he did.

Basically recovered my losses from yesterdays stupidity which is a bit of a boost - and done in double quick time, pity I didn't get the last game into profit but it certainly takes me out of the danger zone for a day or two.

Having played non to well in the first couple of cash games I tried out a tournie. Managing to get caught out making the low end of a straight on the turn and him making the high end on the river. Back to cash I build up fairly quickly and easily to double my stake up to 40+ and then all goes pete tong. So I've managed to dump a load of money in double quick time to end up 31 cents short of even.
