PokerStars Launch Moneymaker Millionaire - World's largest FREE Poker Tournament

Poker Blog of the Week ... The Law School Dropout's Poker Blog

great poker blog kept by a law student who got fed up with the idea of a soul-sucking career in law and decided to do something about it. This is the tale of his experiences, starting out as a 2/4 grinder and moving up until he was sitting in $100/$200 and $2,000NL games, all within the span of about 12 months.

4kingpoker Losses ... No losses this week due to lack of play, hopefully I will get a chance to play a bit this week - I've got a bit of money at poker.com and a free $20 at party poker which I've played with a bit and was doing ok until I really started to treat the players with a little too much contempt ... but they are really really bad ... don't even need massive amounts of patience to make money there but you do need to make sure you don't pick up their bad habits.

4kingpoker Tournaments ... The $3 Buy-in tournament at Poker.com this weekend was won by one of our newer members ... gonhuntin which puts him in 3rd place overall leaderboard with 10 games to go. HarryLime & charterboss are in joint 1st place in the league both with 16pts.

This coming weekend 4kingpoker has another game at Poker.com this time a $50 freeroll ... The 13th game in the 4kingpoker Freeroll tour ... Sunday 6th August at 3pm EST.

4kingpoker News ... Having sorted out most of the changes to bigger text on the site now it looks 100x better and much easier to read than the original version. Still alot more work to do to get 4kingpoker up in the top poker forums but I think finally it feels like its going in the right direction rather than drifting. So much to do and just not enough time.

With the whole online poker situation in the US getting wierder by the minute, tales of panicing sportsbooks, an arrested company director and some of the poker sites in a panic about having US players it seems like things are getting all bent out of shape and not much perspective on the bill. The bill may or may not get through the senate. I'm no lawyer but as far as I can gather it won't end up getting through and most importantly it is very unlikely that online poker in the US will be banned.
