Mansion Poker leaves US market

Mansion Poker has announced it is no longer taking new US poker players due to problems finding a new payment processor.

Whilst this is bad news for American players it is a great opportunity for European and non-US poker players as they are continuing the huge $100K A Day Guaranteed tournaments into February. They've proved to be great value with massive overlay's and are only set to get bigger - $794,000 in the first 17 days in January. They will take place daily at 18.00 GMT - Don't miss it.

Neteller Closes to US Poker Players

Neteller has offically announced it has closed payment processing for US poker players. After arrests under the WIRE act & UIGEA bill in America.

FirePay have also ammounced they are alos withdrawing from the US Market.

Don't panic - Money is safe and sites are providing other eWallets & processors.



It's going to be a while before the full impact of Neteller withdrawing tranfers to online poker sites for US players. But sites are bringing in other eWallet options - Bodog Poker for example are offering two new methods eWalletXpress & NuCharge.

Information on how other payment processors plan to approach the Neteller news is coming through and new payment methods are being added on a regalar basis. We will update information as it is confirmed by the poker sites.

In the same way the signing of the UIGEA put everyone in a spin and running around like headless chickens - Neteller's withdrawl and the US putting pressure on the banking institutions is bound to make more waves through online poker.
