Mansion Poker leaves US market

Mansion Poker has announced it is no longer taking new US poker players due to problems finding a new payment processor.

Whilst this is bad news for American players it is a great opportunity for European and non-US poker players as they are continuing the huge $100K A Day Guaranteed tournaments into February. They've proved to be great value with massive overlay's and are only set to get bigger - $794,000 in the first 17 days in January. They will take place daily at 18.00 GMT - Don't miss it.

4kingpoker Losses

My run at Poker.com has come to a disapointing end yet again. I was massively up at one stage and then down to showing a modest 2x profit. A nice steady session clawed back up another $400 which went in the space of 4 or 5 bad beat hands - I had KK crushed by AK for $100+ all-in (preflop) which was just the start of the stats defying run.

A few hands later I had a King high flush draw (diamonds) on the flop, hit a king on the turn. Figuring I was ahead with top pair (I was) and a good flush draw I decided to get the other player committed to an all-in, he calls with just an ace of diamonds (nothing paired etc) and of course the diamond hits on the river - The bad beats just kept coming and a $400 profit on the session turned into a crippling $600 loss which now puts me down to under $50.
