Got saturday night free - so I'm going to play some cash games as its much looser with the drunks and fish

• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 16.90 ... + $ 5.90
• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 6.95 ... - $ 4.05

• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 26.45 ... + $ 15.45
• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 00.00 ... - $ 11.00

• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 18.20 ... + $ 7.20
• $ 11.00 NL 0.25 cash game ... $ 10.75 ... - $ 00.25

I hate cash games - my confidence goes down the pan - esp on fri / sat night - none of them seem to play with any kind of logic which then means I start to either play looser and moderately aggressive or more frustratingly I play tight and very aggressive to try and cut the field down - and still not many fold and I get out drawn.

I'm happy to take down a good size pot early and not get greedy but when they all call and get lucky it drives me bonkers - I think I must be missing something as your sposed to be able to take $40 hr - ok so thats 3/4 big hands I can live with being patient so I should be pleased when I only get one caller not 3 for an all-in ... and yet that caller seems to have the 3rd best hand and then gets runner runner.

Struggling short stack went all-in preflop with QA suited wasnt happy but I had to do something - got half a chance against JJ hit - I hit an ace on the flop but he made a random straight with a 9 on the river.

Made plenty of chips from very loose lame calls with people playing off suit picture cards

Had a perfectly good hand and was ahead until he managed to get runner runner spades - again sat night players just dont lay down real underdog drawing hands - even if you get them commited on the flop after a big preflop raise - I actually think I prefer to play the tighter Monday - Friday 9 to 5 games

It's progress but not as we know it - spent a whole lot of time in cash games hoping to double up several times - didnt really happen - think I'd have been better off playing tournies all night but at least it seems to have been worth cashing up nearly a month early - really need to get some consistency and get back up to square
